Shots were fired during a robbery this evening at Wedgewood Cleaners located at 3399 Wilcox Blvd., according to Chattanooga police.
The owner told police that two juveniles who looked to be as young as 14 came into the business at 5:30 p.m. and asked a few questions then left, said police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary. They returned 20 minutes later, Weary said, and one of them fired a gun into the ceiling before telling one of the employees to give over the money in the cash register. After they got the money, both fled the business going toward the Wilcox Tunnels, Weary said.
None of the employees were injured in the robbery, Weary said. Police are looking for two young black males believed to be between 14 and 17 years old, dressed in black hooded sweatshirts and black pants. If anyone has information about this incident, they are asked to call Chattanooga Police at 423-698-2525.

I guess the children have to get Christmas money someway. My question is where are the parents, where are the responsible adults? A violent society begats violent children. Lax, lenient juvenile courts only encourage this behavior. When captured I will bet this is not the first offence for either of the suspects. Just because the suspects are children makes them no less dangerous or those bullets any less real.
still no arrests made?? Great police work!!
Do you realize how many 14-17 year old black males wearing black pants and black hooded sweatshirts there are in that area?
Yep I do thinblue. The parents lots of times take little to no responsibility for their kids, too much idle time, and the kids seeing bad things happening at home. Sad and dangerous.
No parental influence whatsoever. That area is as dangerous as inner-city Detroit. I don't see it changing either. Their lifestyles don't change. They are a constant.
