IT'S ONLY A TEST

The republican party is all about purity tests these days. Like Reagan said, trust but verify, and It's important to know where everyone stands on important conservative issues.

Like tax cuts for the rich, evolution, water pollution, tax cuts for the rich, air pollution, immigrantion, tax cuts for the rich, birth control, abortion, tax cuts for the rich, climate change, alternative energy...

Gosh, the list goes on and on, but not everyone in America is really conservative enough to qualify these days as being a genuine conservative.

Heck, not everyone in the republican party qualifies.

But let's forget about the idealogical split in the GOP for a second and think about how Romeny is going to get elected president. George W. campaigned for latino votes in 2000, got about 42%, and 'squeaked' into office. He got about 44% in 2004 and barely won re-election. McCain only got about 30% in 2008 and lost to Obama. Right now Romney is polling under 20% and his promise to veto the 'dream act,' (originally a republican initiative) may push that number even lower.

Maybe one of you tea bagging right wing posters will give us examples of how republicans in general and Romney in particular will appeal to latino voters. Is there any policy being forwarded by the GOP that caters to any voting bloc outside the 1%?

Most all the capitalistic countries are going into a birth rate decline which ultimately could result in unsustainable economic growth. The Europeans are depending on foreign workers from the middle east to fill the gap, which has brought on culture/religion issues. We have an abundance of southern border workers which at some point in time we will gladly embrace..and now may be the time to eliminate the drug smuggling issue and plan for a positive transition. Sooner or later we will have to face the fact that drug-prohibition as currently exists is not working. Obama or Romney will definitely have to face this issue the next four years.

Romney would throw his own mother under the bus to win the White House. He wrote the book on flip-flops. Interesting to see just how many times he walks back something he's said during the primaries. It will be a classic to watch. LOL

At least they are not actively considering confiscation of 401Ks, for the time being. I am starting to regret having so much money in government regulated retirement accounts. It would probably be better to pay the taxes and put the money where it is not so tempting to government hacks.

To prove the point, I might just take a hidden camera and look up someone who hasn't voted in awhile, go to the polls and claim to be that person. Even better, I will get one of my Hispanic employees who is not a citizen go to a black precinct and try to vote. I will bet you anything they will let him vote. I will even make it harder by getting him to use a name like "John Smith."

Voter fraud is rampant in minority precincts. Be careful daring people to "prove" it because it would be pretty easy to do. Dead people, mentally challenged, non-citizens, and absentee ballots are misused every election by the democrat party.

As far as winning and losing is concerned, I would rather lose and be honest than win and cheat. The problem is that you democrats don't feel that way. It is all about winning at all costs.

As member of the public, you’re simply not entitled to know or to enter the sacred clubhouse of the wealthiest 1% where policies are known-knowns. A colition of groups supporting immigrants has recruited teams of volunteers to help push programs they hope will add thousands of new U.S citizens to the voter rolls in several states in time for the Nov. election.

The department of Home Land Security says an estimated 12.6 million people were holding green cards given to legal permanent US residents in 2010, including 8.1 million people who already qualify for naturalization but have not applied for citizenship.

The "Become A Citizen NOW" campaign began in March and is hoping to help immigrants complete the application process to become citizens and register to vote, Tennessee is one of the many states they are targetting.

The article featured Yenith Berrio, a 40yr. old Columbian citizen who will be helped by these groups with the process to become a citizen and be able to vote in Nov.

It typically takes just over five months to acquire citizenship.

Those immigrants that apply their citizenship before the end of April are likely to be able to vote in this election, said Josh Hoyt, a co- chair of the National Partnership for New Americans.

I personally don't have a problem with the Mexican immigrants and believe their the ones we should have a plan for U.S. citizenship, however i do have a problem with immigrants from other countries, Middle East, Africa, India, PAkistani ETC.

Like America who brought in low labor workers from south of the border, I believe Europe originally brought those Middle Eastern and African workers in to drive down salaries and bust up Unions. This was an original ploy from the GOP republican side that backfired. Now they're trying to figure out how to best run'em out of the country by stiffening immigration laws and building massive immigration detention centers all around the country. OH! Did they mention just how many billions the federal government is paying out monthly to sustain those private immigration detention centers? The operation has become so lucrative that those ill runned, ill staffed private centers have been cropping up all over America.
