James Herbert "Roger" Wolfe, 78, of Chattanooga, formerly of Beloit, Wis., passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.He was a Korean War veteran whose love for planes, wolves and the outdoors was shared with his family. He was a Cable TV technician, maintenance man, landscaper and loving father who loved to cruise and was an avid member of the EAA and Warbirds of America.He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; parents, Kenneth and Sylvia; sister, Darlene Ruda; brothers, Augusta and Terry Wolf.Survivors include his daughters, Robin Wolfe and Michael Henley, Julie and Jeff Baker, of Chattanooga; son, Sean Grande, of Madison, Wis.; six grandchildren, Wes, Tabitha, Stephanie, Kyana, Kelton and Nash; one great-grandson, Keiryaan; brothers, Rodney, of Sparta, Wis., Ronald (Nancy), and Butch, of Beloit, Wis.; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Marley and Dumbo.A memorial service is planned for noon Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Pastor Jason Salyers officiating.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.The family will receive friends 10 a.m-noon Sunday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
