Herron and Johnson

The engagement of Molly McClain Herron and Christopher Scott Johnson is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Herron. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Chris Johnson. The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 31, at Tennessee RiverPlace. The bride- elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Herron of Rising Fawn, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Coleman McClain. Miss Herron is a graduate of Red Bank High School. She will receive a nursing degree in May from Chattanooga State Community College. She is a nurse technician at Erlanger Hospital and is a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Johnson II, Mrs. Frederick Heath and the late Mr. Heath. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Family Christian Academy and attended Chattanooga State Community College. He is a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and is employed by the city of Red Bank Public Works Department.

The engagement of Taylor Elaine Tucker and Scott Alan Massey is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley R. Tucker of Signal Mountain. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Donna Bachara of Jacksonville, Fla., the late Henry George Bachara, the late Adelaide Candler Tucker and Stanley Randolph Tucker. Miss Tucker is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Clemson University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a family nurse practitioner at Chattanooga Ear Nose and Throat. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Annie J. Massey of Lebanon, Tenn., the late Joseph Massey, Jane Scott of Georgetown, Ind., and the late Lillis “Bud” Scott. Mr. Massey received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ and is vice president of Coyote Logistics.
