Beacham and Conner

The engagement of Margaret Diane Beacham and Garrison Kennedy Conner is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan W. Beacham of Cleveland, Tenn. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. H. Kennedy Conner. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 19, at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Cleveland, where the bride-elect is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of R.M. Travis of Cleveland, the late Mrs. Travis and the late Mr. and Mrs. M.W. Beacham. Miss Beacham is a graduate of Cleveland High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, and a master’s degree in education from the University of South Carolina. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. G.D. Conner and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Garrison. Mr. Conner is a graduate of Baylor School. He received a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He is a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church and is director of admissions at Christ School in Arden, N.C.
