She is kitchen director for the Viking Store in Franklin, Tenn. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Rogers of Signal Mountain. Mr. Collins graduated from Notre Dame High School and Culinary Institute of America. He is manager of Stoveworks Restaurant in Franklin and is a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.

She is the great-granddaughter of Grace Lawson of Decatur, Tenn. Ms. Tanner graduated from Ooltewah High School and attended Chattanooga State Technical Community College. She is a customer service representative with ABRA Auto Body and is a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Raymond M. Whitley of Signal Mountain and the late Mr. Whitley. Parents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Daniel Phiet Pham of Fulton, Md., and the late Dr. Pham. Sarah Sischo was the honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Laura Kelly and Kelsey Phillips. The flower girls were Mary Hadley Christopher and Angelina Phung. Dr. Shikhar Soni served as best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Alan Yang, Dr. Ahmed Elrefai, Dr. Peter Pham and Paul Pham. The ring bearer was Nathan Nguyen. A reception was held at the Walden Club. The couple took a wedding trip to Greece and Turkey. They reside in Lake Mary, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Holder of Harrison. Parents of the bridegroom are Sharon Landreth and Erskine Prater of Chattanooga. Leslie Rudder and Rachel Boyd were honor attendants. Also attending the bride were Josh Moser, Breanne Woods and Brandon Harris. The flower girls were Kylie Rudder and Lexi Stinnett. David Boehning served as best man. Groom’s attendants were Heather Williams, Steve Archer, Elisabeth Eaton and Kevin Spann. A reception was held at the Aquarium. The couple took a wedding trip to Florida. They reside in Harrison.

Robinson and Hamilton

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Robinson Sr. of Chattanooga announce the engagement of their daughter, Tawana Elizabeth Robinson, to Miquel Hamilton, son of Ernestine Hamilton of Chattanooga. The wedding is planned for Friday, Oct. 24, at Phillips Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, where the future bride is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Dorothy W. Pride, the late Rev. William M. Pride and Jewell Sparks, all of Chattanooga. Ms. Robinson graduated from Howard High School and attended Tennessee State University. She received certification from Alternative Vision Hair Academy. She is a hair stylist with Golden Touch Salon and is employed as an inspector with Olan Mills. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Duke. He graduated from Howard High School and attended Tennessee State University. He is a retail salesman and is of the Jehovah Witness faith.

Patricia Lynn Herndon became the bride of Gary Dixon Schimpf on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Chris Tyler Robinson. The bride is the daughter of Raleigh and Vira Garnto of Valdosta, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Ann Schimpf of Signal Mountain and the late Eugene H. Schimpf Jr. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Alexis Blair Herndon attended her mother as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashton Brooke Herndon, daughter of the bride, and Henley Royer Schimpf and Ava Jensen Schimpf, daughters of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Georgia Dixon Schimpf, daughter of the bridegroom. Eugene H. Schimpf III served as best man for his brother. A reception was held at the church. The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn. They reside in Ringgold, Ga.
