She received a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She is pursuing an education specialist degree in administration from Lincoln Memorial University. She is a teacher in the Catoosa County, Ga., school system. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Addison of Chickamauga, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Orion Richardson. Mr. Addison is a graduate of McCallie School, and received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from UTC. He employed by ARS E-Commerce in Red Bank.

Wedding

Sisk

Ashley Nichole Vandergriff became the bride of John Clarence Sisk in a ceremony on Saturday, May 9, at Daisy Methodist Church. The Rev. Lonnie Eldridge performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Ken and JoAnne Vandergriff. Parents of the bridegroom are Danny and SuEllen Sisk. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Cara Vandergriff was maid of honor. Heather Crowe and Jennifer Jensen were bridesmaids. Mr. Sisk acted as best man for his son. Steven Crock and John DePrima were groomsmen. A reception was held at Camp Dixie. The couple took a wedding trip to Florida. Mrs. Sisk is the granddaughter of Wayne and Ramona Vandergriff and the late Harold and Betty Jo Hixson. She is a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School and received a bachelor’s degree in legal assistant studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed by the Hamilton County Department of Education. Mr. Sisk is the grandson of Sue Harper, the late Andrew Harper and the late Clarence and Pearl Sisk. He is a graduate of Ridgeland High School and is employed by A-1 Acoustical. The Sisks reside in this city and are members of New Salem Baptist Church.
