The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lola Gatewood of Brandsville, Mo. Miss Loudermilk received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is employed as a logistics analyst by Mueller Co. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Charles and Dorothy McDaniel of Waynesville, N.C. Mr. McDaniel received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a juris doctorate from the University of Memphis. He is employed as an attorney by Legal Aid of East Tennessee.

The engagement of Lauren Nicole Miller and Wendall Keith Huckabee Jr. is announced today.
