Wright and Harvey
The engagement of Jackie Rae Wright and Christopher Lee Harvey is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Ray Wright. The future bridegroom is the son of Carolyn Harvey of Springfield, Va. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Wright farm in Cleveland, Tenn. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lee and Sophia Jane Tucker of Cleveland. Miss Wright is a graduate of Silverdale Baptist Academy. She is pursuing an associate’s degree at Chattanooga State Community College. She is employed by Wright Jewelers. Mr. Harvey is a graduate of Lake Braddock Secondary School. He received an associate’s degree from Chattanooga State and is a student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Allen and Altimare
Joy Denise Allen became the bride of Frank Altimare III in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Round Hill Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen. Parents of the bridegroom are Linda Altimare Berchtold of Darby, Pa., and the late Frank Altimare II. Allison Cowan Carroll was matron of honor. Sonia Figueroa Martinez was maid of honor. Laura Altimare O’Donnell and Kristena Lucky Bloom were bridesmaids. Jim Gorman Sr., served as best man. Jerald Martin was the groomsman. A reception was held at Round Hill Resort. After a wedding trip to Cap Juluca, Anguilla, the couple will reside in New York, N.Y.

Kristin Leigh Jenkins became the bride of Dr. Michael Campbell Patterson in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Northside Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Benjamin Skidmore performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Edwin Jenkins. Parents of the bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Cole Patterson of Memphis. Leesa Jenkins Holliday was matron of honor. Diana Lynn Williams was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caroline Parks Jones and Mary Louise Patterson. Kathryn Watson Danowski and Margaret Hale Rigsby were lay readers. Mary Jenkins Holliday was the flower girl. Dr. Patterson served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Paul Michael Holliday, Jerald Edwin Jenkins Jr. and Robert Kyle Leymann. Hamilton Walker Holliday was ring bearer. A reception was held at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. After a wedding trip to Maroma Beach in Mexico, the couple will reside in this city.

The engagement of Natalie Rose Giannelli and Andrew McDonald Exum is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Frank and Judy Giannelli of Yorktown Heights, N.Y. Parents of the future bridegroom are Ann Nicholson Exum and Roy McDonald Exum. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 13, in Washington, D.C. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Anna Giannelli of Brooklyn, N.Y., the late Giuseppe Giannelli, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Palladino of Flushing, N.Y. Miss Giannelli is a graduate of Yorktown High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Stanford University. She is a member of GraceDC Presbyterian Church and is a water specialist at World Bank. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Georgia Brock Nicholson, the late B.E. “Gene” Nicholson, Helen McDonald Exum and the late Kinchen Williams Exum. Mr. Exum is a graduate of McCallie School. He received a bachelor’s degree in English literature classics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in Middle Eastern studies from the American University of Beirut. He pursuing a doctorate in war studies from the University of London. He is a member of GraceDC Presbyterian Church and is a research fellow at The Center for a New American Security.

The engagement of Lacey Beth Randolph and Marten Anthony John Fadelle is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Beverly and James Randolph . Parents of the future bridegroom are Terry and Cathy Fadelle of Grand Bend, Ontario, Canada. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 23, in Birchwood, Tenn. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Warren Bernard and Elizabeth Randolph and Paul and Bernice Smith. Miss Randolph is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Vanderbilt University, and is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. She is a member of West End Community Church in Nashville, and is a team leader for Campus Crusade for Christ at Vanderbilt University. The future bridegroom is the grandson of John A. and Gerry VanderVeken and Anthony and Evelyne Fadelle, all of Ontario, Canada. Mr. Fadelle is a graduate of St. Mary’s D.C.V.I. High School. He received bachelor’s degrees in biology and environmental sciences and intermediate senior/science from the University of Western Ontario, and a master’s degree in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is a member of West End Community Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Skelton. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Steven Stinson. Nicole Folkner was maid of honor. Stacy Johnson and Allison Jones were bridesmaids. Corinne Johnson was the flower girl. Allen Turner served as best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Klein and James Ralph. A reception was held at the church. The couple took a wedding trip to Forrest Hills Mountain Resort. They reside in this city.

Miss McNabb is a graduate of Ooltewah High School. She is employed as a financial analyst by First Tennessee Bank. The future bidegroom is the grandson of Claude and Maxine Kruse and Ernestine and Frank Lewis. Mr. Lewis is employed by Fugate Construction Co.

The engagement of Laura Simpson Walters and Scott William Aitken is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Walters of Johnson City, Tenn. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Glen Aitken of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Jan. 1, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Walter and MaryAnne Skiscim of Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Rev. Benjamin and Doris Walters. Miss Walters received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She is a kindergarten teacher at Timber Trace Elementary School in Palm Beach Gardens. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Vincent and Celia Izzo, Jack Vasque and Edna Aitken. Mr. Aitken received an associate’s degree in recording engineering from Full Sail University. He is youth minister at St. Patrick Catholic Church and self-employed in his music production.

Steve Cirlot performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cirlot of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Kernea and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Thompson of Chickamauga, Ga. Celeste Weaver was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jane’ Ellis, Holly Ozborn, Ragan Kernea and Brandy Wofford. Emery Ellis was the flower girl. Mr. Kernea served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Blake Kernea, Josh Bradley, Rob Cirlot and Patrick O’Neal. Hudson Jones and Cooper Jones were ring bearers. A reception was held at Lindsay Street Hall. The couple took a wedding trip to Italy. They reside in Ringgold.
