Baldwin and Mitchell

The engagement of Melissa Anne Baldwin and Garrett Thomas Mitchell is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Ron and Debbie Baldwin. Parents of the future bridegroom are Jill Tyvand and Thom Mitchell. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Dec. 17, at East Brainerd Church of Christ, where both are members. Miss Baldwin is a graduate of Boyd-Buchanan School. She is pursuing an accounting degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Mr. Mitchell is a graduate of Ooltewah High School. He is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at UTC. He is an intern at TVA.

Wilson and Faulkenberry

The engagement of Ashley Elaine Wilson and Brent Austin Faulkenberry is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Allen and Cheryl Wilson. Parents of the future bridegroom are Frankie and Barbara Faulkenberry of Ringgold, Ga. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Dec. 17, at The Ringgold Depot. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Debbie Green of Ringgold and Roy and Gail Higdon of Pensacola, Fla. Miss Wilson is a graduate of Dade County High School. She is a member of Orchard Church and is employed by Child Care Network. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Frank and Alice Faulkenberry of Ringgold and Richard and Lucille McClure of Rossville. Mr. Faulkenberry is a graduate of Ringgold High School. He is a member of Orchard Church and is employed by Stowers of Chattanooga.

Jessy Louise Yancey became the bride of Ty William Herrmann in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 22, at Zan Guerry Clubhouse. The Rev. David W. Yancey performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Sally and Steven Yancey of Pleasant Shade, Tenn. Parents of the bridegroom are Susan and Ray Herrmann. After a wedding trip to California and Hawaii, the couple resides in Nashville.

The engagement of Katherine Louise Coulter and Todd Lee Morrow is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Rick and Katie Coulter. Parents of the future bridegroom are Judy Ledford and Monty Morrow of Cleveland, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Sunday, Jan. 1, at The Chattanoogan. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Boyd and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Coulter. Miss Coulter is a graduate of East Ridge High School and Alternative Visions Hair Academy. She is a motorsports graphic designer and a cosmetologist. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Carolyn Myers, Bill Mayo and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Morrow. Mr. Morrow is a graduate of Bradley County High School. He is a member of Bethel Baptist Tabernacle and is a transportation specialist and race -car driver.

Allen and Neighbors

The engagement of Deniece Chantell Allen and Joshua Allen Neighbors is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Donna Henshaw of Tullahoma, Tenn., and the late Tommy Allen. Parents of the future bridegroom are Jackie and Judy Neighbors. The wedding is planned for Sunday, Dec. 18, at Grace Calvary Chapel, where both are members. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Richard and Wilma Henshaw, the late Harvey and Cora Bell Allen and the late Earlene Holland. Miss Allen is a graduate of Tullahoma High School. She received an associate’s degree in pre-physical therapy from Motlow State Community College and an associate’s degree in physical therapy assisting from Chattanooga State Community College. She a physical therapist assistant at Memorial Hospital. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Ressie Neighbors, the late Jack Neighbors and the late Amos and Juanita Higgins. Mr. Neighbors is a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. He received bachelor’s degrees in human resource management and general management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is a staffing intern at Unum and an office assistant at Pioneer Title.

Miss Sims received bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She is a registered nurse at Erlanger. Mr. Black is a graduate of Brainerd High School and is employed by Shaw Industries.

The bride is the daughter of Roy and Roselyn Young, and Kevin and Phyllis Vison of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Debbie Kemp of Ringgold. Kim Rehring was matron of honor. Johnna Tucker was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jericka Holcomb, Jennifer Dupree and Alexis Sanders. Sydney Rehring and Maggie Rehring were flower girls. Mark Kemp and Matthew Holcomb served as best men. Groomsmen were Benjie Holcomb, Jeremy Owens and Jeff McCommon. Patrick Rehring and Tommy Rehring were ring bearers. Ushers were Jimmy Sharp, Tommy Ankar and Casey Carpenter. A reception was held at the church. After a wedding cruise to the Cayman Islands and Mexico, the couple resides in this city.

Bridesmaids were Callie Hildebrand, Eleanor Hildebrand, Sarah Pitts, Carrie Williamson, Lauren Childress, Whitney Ewing, Meaghan Sledge, Annie McBrien, Maddie Burke, Liz Borroni and Kaylyn Arvidson. Olivia McCarver and Lucy Smith were flower girls. James Hardin served as best man. Groomsmen were Cale Hildebrand, Andrew Klausner, Sean Long, Chris Ng, Ryan McCoy and Spencer Walker. Liam McCarver was ring bearer. A reception was held in Guerry Dining Hall at Baylor School. The couple are stationed at different Air Force bases in Oklahoma and Florida.
