Coffey and Stout

The engagement of Kendall Ashton Coffey and Brian Michael Stout is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Daryle and Kim Coffey. Parents of the future bridegroom are Ronald and Anne Stout of Collierville, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 22, at Laurelwood Farm. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of U.Kay and Betty Whaley. Miss Coffey received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and enterprise management from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. She is employed as a team leader in deployment by The Clorox Co. in Atlanta. Mr. Stout received a bachelor’s degree in logistics and international business from UTK, where he was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. He is employed as an operations supervisor by McMaster-Carr.

Holder and Powell

The engagement of Julie Elizabeth Holder and William Byrd Powell IV is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Jayne Arnold Holder and the late Dr. Ronald Graden Holder. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. William Byrd Powell III of Cleveland, Miss. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 15, in Germantown, N.Y. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Arnold Jr. and Mrs. James Holder Jr. Miss Holder is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. She is employed as photo editor for RollingStone.com as a free-lance photographer. Mr. Powell is a graduate of Bayou Academy in Cleveland. He received a bachelor’s degree in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. He is employed as a senior photography editor for Bravo TV.

Edwards and Whitehurst

The engagement of Lindsay Elizabeth Edwards and James Thomas Whitehurst II is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Linda Edwards Russell of Kennesaw, Ga., and the late Lloyd Edwards Jr. Parents of the future bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Whitehurst of Durham, N.C. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colo. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Stella Wade, the late Dennis Wade and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Edwards Sr.. Miss Edwards is a graduate of Baylor School. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from American University and a Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Colorado in Denver. She is pursuing a medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James T. Whitehurst and the late Dr. and Mrs. Dexter Davis. Mr. Whitehurst is a graduate of Durham Academy. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Colorado in Denver . He is pursuing a medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Ricci and Decosimo

The engagement of Milena Alexandra Ricci and Robert Barton Decosimo is announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Joseph Warnock of Garden City, N.Y. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frederick Decosimo. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. Joseph’s Church in Garden City. Miss Ricci received a bachelor’s degree in history from Washington and Lee University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She is employed in public relations with LaForce + Stevens public relations firm. She is a member of Church of St. Joseph in Greenwich Village, N.Y. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Decosimo, Mrs. Robert Lytle Robertson and the late Mr. Robertson. Mr. Decosimo received a bachelor’s degree in economics and English from Washington and Lee University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He received a master’s degree in business administration from New York University. He is employed by Observer Capital, a middle-market private equity fund. He is a member of Church of St. Joseph.

Romanowsky and Nazor

The engagement of Bonnie Rae Romanowsky and Kristopher Lancaster Nazor is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Elaine Romanowsky of Agua Dulce, Calif., and the late Michael Romanowsky. Parents of the future bridegroom are Hank and Karen Nazor Hill and Kevin Nazor. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Aug. 11, at The Woods Clubhouse in San Diego. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Ellen Marie Schaefer, the late Eugene Schaefer and the late Ritva Romanowsky. Miss Romanowsky received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communicative disorders from San Diego State University. She is a speech-language pathologist. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Evelyn Lancaster, the late William J. Lancaster and the late Lee and Joan Nazor. Mr. Nazor received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is a graduate student and Ph.D. candidate at the Scripps Research Institute in LaJolla, Calif.

Anna Amelia Graber became the bride of Daniel Hazlewood Jacobs in a ceremony on Saturday, June 30, at Desoto State Park in Fort Payne, Ala. The Rev. J.R. Caines performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale J. Graber of St. Paul, Minn. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Francis Jacobs Jr. Rachel Graber and Rosalie Graber were the bride’s honor attendants. Mr. Jacobs served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Benjamin Barlow Jacobs and Phillip McCarroll Jacobs. A reception was held at Mentone Springs Hotel in Mentone, Ala. The couple took a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C. They reside in this city.

Miss Brown is a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. She received an associate’s degree in radiologic technology and a certificate in diagnostic ultrasound from Chattanooga State Community College. She is employed as an ultrasonographer. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Peggy and Glenn Blevins and Edward and Sue Harmon, all of Dunlap. Mr. Blevins is a graduate of Sequatchie County High School. He received an associate’s degree in radiologic technology from Chattanooga State Community College. He is a radiologic technologist and is a member of Ewtonville Baptist Church.
