Loveday and Hodges
Sherelen Loveday became the bride of Caleb Hodges in a ceremony on Saturday, July 20, in Patten Chapel on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Dr. Ken Duggan performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Buffy and Kevin Loveday of Soddy-Daisy. Parents of the bridegroom are Cheryl Silvia and Randy Hodges. Brittney Hoyt, Jessica Steele, Anna Smartt, Lacie Black and Megan Givens were bridesmaids. Elizabeth Brown, Anna Pharris, Tia Barnes and Cecilia Jane Hodges were flower girls. Groomsmen were Jason Walker, Jake Hoot, Jacob Walker, Jacob LeQuire and Kurt Hodges. Sergeant Logan Loveday was ring bearer. A reception was held at Coker Tire Museum. After a wedding cruise to the Carribean, the couple resides in Bowling Green, Ky.
Holstine and Daugherty
The engagement of Jennifer Ann Holstine and J. Patrick Daugherty Jr. is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Jed and Gerri Holstine. Parents of the future bridegroom are Jerry and Beth Daugherty. The wedding isplanned for Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where the future bride is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gerald and Mary Lou Laue of Auburn, Kan., Jane Gideon of Topeka, Kan., and the late James Holstine. Miss Holstine is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in child and family studies from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is a certified child life specialist at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Norma Ezzell, the late Bob Ezzell and the late Milton and Marguerite Daugherty. Mr. Daugherty is a graduate of Baylor School. He received a bachelor’s degree in business from Auburn University, where he was a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He is employed in the Commercial Real Estate Department at First Tennessee Bank.
