Estill and McGarvey

The engagement of Meredith Estill and Andrew McGarvey is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Dr. Vincent and Sherrie Estill of Rossville. Parents of the future bridegroom are the Rev. Timothy and Brenda McGarvey of Altoona, Pa. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 15, at Bible Way Baptist Church, where the future bride is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Shirley Estill of Jasper, Ala., and Frank and Rita Price of Marion, N.C. Miss Estill is a graduate of Grace Baptist Academy. She received a bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology from Toccoa Falls College and a master’s degree in college student development from Lee University. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Irvin and Tootsie McGarvey and Wendell and Ann Snyder of Mahaffey, Pa. Mr. McGarvey is a graduate of Altoona Area High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Toccoa Falls College. He is a counselor at Cherokee Creek Boys School and is a member of Foothills Community Church in Toccoa, Ga.

Crabtree and Mucciolo

Rachel Marie Crabtree became the bride of Matthew Jason Mucciolo in a cememony on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Mark Flynn performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Roy and Lynn Crabtree of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Lou and Sharon Mucciolo of Hermosa Beach, California. Rebecca Crabtree was maid of honor. Katie Terry and Tina Peters were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Miranda Gordon, Catherine Ledbetter, Kasey Stephenson, Kim Boss, Peggy Parks, Robbie Lofty, Catherine Watjen, Natalie Shope, Jessica Morris, Kelly Popkin, Robyn Reedy and Mallory Allen. Graci Felker and Penelope Peters were flower girls. Mr. Mucciolo served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Evan Simovich, Michael Green, Kevin Binning, Andrew Shaver, Matthew Soloff, Alan Ledbetter, Jesse Felker, Trey McNeil, Thomas Stegall, Morgan Ralls, Jason Peetz, David Johnson and Joey Mucciolo. Andrew Mucciolo and A.J. Mucciolo were ring bearers. A reception was held at the Sheraton Read House. The couple took a wedding trip to Qamea Island, Fiji. They reside in Chattanooga.

The engagement of Brett Fraley Berghel and Dr. Christopher Michael Cutshall is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Berghel Jr. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. R. Michael Cutshall of Aiken, S.C. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 22, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, where the future bride is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rear Adm. (Ret.) and Mrs. Ricardo Ratti of Rockville, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Berghel of Clarkesville, Ga. Miss Berghel received a bachelor’s degree in English and French literature from the University of Iowa, and a master’s degree in accountancy from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is an accountant with Ernst & Young. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cutshall of Port Neches, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Perry of Houston. Dr. Cutshall received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Clemson University, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and a doctorate of medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a physician with Carolina Medical Affiliates in Spartanburg, S.C., and is a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville, S.C.

Forsyth and Macmurdo

The engagement of Colleen Elizabeth Forsyth and Scott Charles Macmurdo is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan J. Forsyth. Parents of the future bridegroom are Sandra Bagley Macmurdo of Baton Rouge, La., and the late Robert Bruce Macmurdo. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 29, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where the bride-elect is a member. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Forsyth of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Crane. Miss Forsyth is a graduate of Baylor School. She received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Rhodes College, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and a doctor of osteopathic medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. She is a pediatric resident at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger and will soon pursue a fellowship in genetics at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Charles and Genevieve Macmurdo of Baton Rouge, and Kenneth and Harriett Bagley of Bellingham, Wash. Mr. Macmurdo is a graduate of LSU University High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in international studies and French from Rhodes College and a master’s degree in international affairs in sustainable energy policy from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. He is associate director of Corporate Eco Forum.

Garrison and Scarbrough

The engagement of Angela Dawn Garrison and Stephen Thomas Scarbrough is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Jonathan and Lisa Garrison. Parents of the future bridegroom are Carl and Krystal Scarbrough. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 7, in Hixson. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bill and Patricia Garrison of Nashville, William and Lucy Karnes of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and the late Helen Karnes. Miss Garrison received a bachelor’s degree in intercultural studies from Lee University. She is a member of Abba’s House and is a special education inclusion teacher at Ivy Academy. She will begin mission work with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Thailand next year. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Christine Scarbrough, the late Gene Scarbrough, Judith Smith and the late Leroy Smith. Mr. Scarbrough received a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is co-founder of Causeway.org and does mission work with Youth With A Mission in Thailand. He is a member of Abba’s House.

The engagement of Amy Katherine Vetter and Lt. James Fulton Hinds is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Robert and Anita Vetter of Ringgold, Ga. Parents of the future bridegroom are Fulton and Anne Hinds of Buffalo, N.Y. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where the future bride is a member. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Audrey Hardin Vetter of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the late Landis “Pat’ Bernard Vetter, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Lee David Lockery. Miss Vetter is a graduate of Girls Preparatory School. She received a bachelor’s degree in human ecology and interior design, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a licensed interior designer at The Lighting Gallery. The future bridegroom is the grandson of David Hauf of Buffalo, the late Patricia A. Hauf and the late Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Redmond Hinds. Lt. Hinds is a graduate of Canisius High School in Buffalo. He received a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the United States Naval Academy. He is an active duty Naval aviator, and is a member of St. Amelia’s Roman Catholic Church.

The engagement of Jessica Joy Volz and Stephen Aaron McCord Bowen is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Dawn Volz and Ronald Volz. Parents of the future bridegroom are George Aubrey Bowen and Lori Katherine Bowen of Ringgold, Ga. The wedding is planned for Friday, Sept. 20. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles Volz of Coral Springs, Fla., the late Mirna Volz, Edward Burdyl of Tamarac, Fla., and Nadine Tinti-Jackson. Miss Volz attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and received an associate’s degree from Chattanooga State Community College. She is enrolled at Alternative Visions Hair Academy and is a member of North Hixson Church of Christ. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late William and Mary McCord, the late George Bowen and the late Desiree Nesbit. Mr. Bowen attended Chattanooga State Community College and the University of North Alabama. He is employed in route sales, and is a member of North Hixson Church of Christ.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Selma Kephart of Alexandria, Millie Krautkremer of Grand Rapids, Minn., and the late Rolland Krautkremer. Mr. Kephart received a bachelor’s degree in education from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn. He is a teacher.
