Siccama and Rhodes
Selina Nicole Siccama became the bride of Robert Allen Rhodes in a ceremony on Saturday, May 11, at Dove Canyon Courtyard in Dove Canyon, Calif. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jessey Siccama of Whitier, Calif. The bridegroom is the son of Cassandra Godbold. The bride graduated from LaSerna High School and is studying nursing at Cypress College in California. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Monugian of Whitier. The bridegroom is the grandson of Bob Mabe. He is a graduate of Hixson High School and is serving in the U.S. Navy. A local reception will be held on Saturday, June 1, at the home of Larry and Cassandra Godbold in Hixson.
Mills and Brown
The engagement of Heather Lynette Mills and Anthony Patrick Brown is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Shirley Mills and Robert Mills. Parents of the future bridegroom are Patrick and Kimberly Brown of Fremont, Mich. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 8, at Castleton Farms in Loudon, Tenn. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Betty Mills of Knoxville, Annette Escue of Portland, Tenn., and the late Dorothy and Henry Escue. Miss Mills is a graduate of Collegedale Academy. She received a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed as a project manager for ARS Advertising. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Leona Ruth Walch of Michigan and the late Austin and Dorothy Brown. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Fremont High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in international business from Johnson and Wales University. He is the southeastern regional sales manager for Mighty Lube and OPCO.
Swiney and Nunnally
The engagement of Sarah Elizabeth Swiney and Joshua Ryan Nunnally is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Scott and Deanna Swiney. Parents of the future bridegroom are Bruce and Lee Nunnally of Knoxville. The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 22, at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension, where both are members. Miss Swiney received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Mr. Nunnally received a bachelor’s degree in history from UTK.
Galphin and Siegel
Kathryn Beatrice Galphin became the bride of Robert William Siegel III in a ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church on Signal Mountain. The Rev. Lillian Galphin and the Rev. John Dukes performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Claude Mabry Galphin. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert William Siegel Jr. of Grand Rapids, Mich. Mary Frances Galphin and Sarah Mabry Galphin, twin sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Katherine Siegel, Kelsey Davidson, Polly Martin, Megan McCord and Carter Woodring. Readers were Robert William Siegel Jr., Emily Apple and Madelyn Henderson. Christopher Meyer served as best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Burger, Kevin Chronowski, Matthew Jalbert, Dr. John McMahon, Brandon Sprotte, Darren Waclawski and Jonathan Zuidema. Ushers were Kyle Hanson and Paul Byrne. A reception was held at Lindsay Street Hall. The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia. They reside in Indianapolis.
