“I wish I had the time and money to shop for fashions. I do not keep up with trends because I’m all about the basics. My favorite pieces are a nice black dress and black pants with a white blouse. But I do love jewelry — earrings, necklaces, bracelets. I can wear jewelry all day and sleep in it at night. I have no desire to pay $300 for a shirt, but I do like to have good jewelry. When it comes to my children, though, cute clothing is important. I like my children to look cute. I hope I’m giving my daughter a sense of pride in herself. She’s out of luck, though, if she looks to me for fashion, but I do want her to think it’s fun.”
