‘Mr. Belding’ at FYE for karaoke CD/DVD release

Chattanooga native Dennis Haskins, of “Saved by the Bell” fame, will be at FYE Records in Northgate Mall tonight from 6 to 8 for the release of his new CD/ DVD “Karaoke With Your Favorite Principal Dennis Haskins aka Mr. Belding.”

On the release, Haskins performs seven familiar songs, and those same songs then are repeated without lyrics.

“People can sing along with me, or they can sing them by themselves,” he said. The songs are “School’s Out for Summer,” “California Dreamin,” “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Piano Man,” “What a Wonderful World,” “Georgia” and “Friends in Low Places.”

There will be an after-party at Bud’s in Brainerd following the instore event.
