Flu-like sickness still hitting UT Vols

KNOXVILLE — Vols coach Bruce Pearl said this afternoon that the flu-like sickness is still circulating in Tennessee’s locker room.

Junior forward Ryan Childress stayed in Knoxville for UT’s Feb. 2 trip to Mississippi State, and senior guards Jordan Howell and JaJuan Smith were limited at LSU. Smith’s only field goal was the game-winner off a steal in the final seconds.

Pearl did not say specifically which players were still under the weather.
