Chattanooga police say missing child found unharmed

Police found a 5-year-old boy believed to be endangered at his custodial aunt’s home late Monday night.

Jaylon Cotton was taken by his non-custodial mother from a relative's house Monday at 1802 Olive St., said Chattanooga Police Department spokeswoman Jerri Weary in a news release.

Police received a call from family members about 11:30 p.m. reporting that the mother had shown up at the custodian’s home with her son. Police went to the home and found the pair, who were both unharmed.

Natosha Stone was taken into custody and arrested without incident on an outstanding warrant for custodial interference, Sgt. Weary said.
