Virginian Love commits to University of Georgia

Georgia picked up its 12th football commitment for the 2009 signing class Thursday when cornerback Jordan Love of Glen Allen, Va., gave a nonbinding pledge to Bulldogs coaches.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Love is rated by Rivals.com as the nation’s No. 32 cornerback prospect. He picked the Bulldogs over Penn State and Florida. He is Georgia’s first commitment since May and would be the first signee from Virginia in Mark Richt’s time as coach.
