Atlanta Braves beat Padres, Maddux 4-1

SAN DIEGO — Jeff Francoeur broke out of his hitting slump, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Brent Lillibridge got his first major league home run as the Atlanta Braves defeated Greg Maddux and the San Diego Padres 4-1 on Saturday night. Rookie starter Charlie Morton pitched 5 1/3 innings of four-hit ball to earn the victory for Atlanta.
