Four Vols, two UGA players picked to coaches’ All-SEC first team

Tennessee had four players named today to the All-Southeastern Conference preseason football team, and Georgia had two.

The team was voted on by league coaches and announced today in coordination with the league’s annual media days event that starts Wednesday in the Birmingham suburb of Hoover.

Making the first team for Tennessee were running back Arian Foster, offensive lineman Anthony Parker, linebacker Rico McCoy and defensive back Eric Berry. Representing Georgia on the first team were running back Knowshon Moreno and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe.

Parker and Moreno were among seven unanimous selections to the team, joining Alabama offensive lineman Andre Smith, Ole Miss offensive lineman Michael Oher, Arkansas offensive lineman Jonathan Luigs, Ole Miss defensive lineman Greg Hardy and Florida linebacker Brandon Spikes.
