I can’t believe I’ve never had a Christian artist perform in Studio ’99. We’ve had punk rockers, country crooners & indie-rock bands but no Christian artists. Philip Hickey is a part of a larger ministry called “God Rock.” His sound can best be described as acoustic rock with an emphasis on God. Despite the subject matter, his music is ultimately listenable and, dare I say, enjoyable. So, before you disregard Christian music give Philip Hickey a listen.
