Victims identified in Monday's crash in Hamilton County that left a 9-year-old in critical condition

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the people involved in Monday evening’s traffic accident involving a four-wheeler ATV and a full-size SUV on Dolly Pond Road.

Nine-year-old Dowen Talon Grissom was flown by Life Force helicopter ambulance to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital with critical injuries after he crashed his ATV into an SUV driven by James Martin Betke, 53, of Soddy-Daisy, said sheriff’s department spokesman Lt. Max Templeton in a news release.

Mr. Betke and passenger Jeffery W. Kemme, 43, of Sequatchie County, were taken by Life Force from the scene at the intersection of Rabbit Lane and Dolly Pond Road, Lt. Templeton said.
