Chattanooga: Five charged in prostitution sting

Chattanooga police arrested five women Thursday evening in an undercover sting meant to catch women involved in the illegal sex trade, according to a department news release.

Officers posed as customers, or “johns,” in the sting. All the suspects offered sexual acts for money, according to the release. The arrests took place in the East Lake and Highland Park neighborhoods.

The following women were arrested: Lytonya Blue, Tanya Scott, Alecia Driggins, Freda Wells and Kenya Reynolds.

One suspect, Ms. Scott, was on probation for a drug offense at the time of her arrest Thursday. All five have been charged with prostitution within one-and-one-half miles of a school.
