Steph Hayes & Chris Schultz in Studio ’99
This week’s MUSICcast features two singer/songwriters from Philadelphia. Both Steph Hayes and Chris Schultz have their own bands, but recently they’ve been touring as an acoustic duo. During their concerts, the two will often perform songs separately while the other accompanies on background vocals and guitar. Their unique brand of “urban folk” is a nice twist on the generic singer/songwriter sound. I think you’ll like what you hear.
Some concerts this week:
Freakwater is in town at the Barking Legs Theater tonight. Tickets are $10. Showtime is 8 p.m. The band will be joined by Chattanooga’s own The Heroes are Horses.
If it’s your thing, Three Doors Down are performing at the Tivoli Theater tonight at 8 p.m. This is one for the kids, folks.
The darling of Chattanooga, Jennifer Daniels, will perform a special early show at Rhythm n’ Brews on Saturday. Showtime is 7p.m. At 10 p.m., Milele Roots will perform.
Add a little rock n’ roll to your Easter Sunday with the Monotonics at JJ’s Bohemia. The show starts at 9 p.m.
Have a great holiday week
