One charged in fatal Grundy County knife attack

A man is dead and another is behind bars following a Thursday night fight in Grundy County, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Christopher Hill is being held on a charge of criminal homicide related to the death of Travis King, officials said.

The fatal fight occurred about 8:30 p.m. CDT outside Mr. King’s residence in an apartment complex, officals said.

Mr. King’s throat was cut during the struggle, officials said.

Mr. Hill is being held in the Grundy County Jail without bond, officials said.
