Personalities and Job Changes

Henson gets Heil Environmental post

Anthony Henson has joined Heil Environmental as director of North American operations.

Mr. Henson will be responsible for all manufacturing at the company’s production facilities in Fort Payne, Ala.

He previously served as plant manager for automotive supplier Dura Automotive Systems in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. He is a graduate of the University of North Alabama in Florence and holds an MBA from Webster University in Ocala, Fla.

He and his wife, Lea, and daughters Molly Ann, Megan and Mallory, are relocating to the Fort Payne area.

Heil is a refuse and recycling vehicle manufacturer.

Lazarus receives finance designation

Joseph C. Lazarus of Decision Associates has earned the chartered financial consultant designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

The chartered financial consultant program focuses on the complete financial planning process, a news release said.

Mr Lazarus firm specializes in the appraisal of businesses, machinery and equipment as well as in litigation support services.

PureBeauty opens in Northgate Mall

A new salon opened Monday in Northgate Mall.

PureBeauty Boutique and Salon is a European-style boutique and salon owned by Regis Corp., with more than 13,400 salons and other businesses worldwide, including Supercuts salon.

PureBeauty is next to Radio Shack inside the mall.

Holloway gets area promotion

Pat Holloway has been named director of marketing and public relations for Tri-Star Health System’s

three Chattanooga hospitals — Parkridge Medical Center, Parkridge East Hospital and Parkridge Valley Hospital.

She previously served as marketing director for Parkridge East Hospital and is a journalism graduate of the University of Georgia.

“Pat brings more than 20 years of progressive experience in marketing and public relations to her new role with Parkridge,” said Darrell Moore, CEO of Parkridge Medical Center. “Her excellent management and communication skills, combined with proven successes in strategic marketing and physician relations will serve our Parkridge facilities well, and we are delighted she has accepted these expanded responsibilities.”

McDonough named TBA unit chair-elect

Travis McDonough of the Chattanooga-based law firm of Miller & Martin has become chairmanelect of the Tennessee Bar Association litigation section.

The 800-member section is the TBA’s largest section, according to a news release.

Mr. McDonough will take over as chairman of the section at the TBA convention in Gatlinburg, Tenn., in June.

Mr. McDonough concentrates his law practice in the areas of corporate disputes, white-collar criminal defense, personal injury claims, class actions, intellectual property rights and other complex litigation. He serves as vice chairman of his law firm’s litigation department.

He is a graduate of the University of the South and Vanderbilt University Law School.

Prince certified as tourism pro

Laura Prince, group sales coordinator for Rock City and Ruby Falls, is a Southeast Tourism Society marketing college graduate.

She is one of the 40 tourism professionals who earned their certification from the esteemed program.

Pike named branch manager

Shane Pike has become manager of S&ME’s Chattanooga branch.

He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and has spent three years with S&ME in Chattanooga.

S&ME is an engineering and environmental services company with 22 offices in the Southeast.

BB&T relocates financial center

BB&T has relocated its financial center at 6903 Lee Highway to Hamilton Place at 2120 Gunbarrel Road. The new center features 8,000 square feet of space and opened in April.

A news release said a grand re-opening celebration, featuring the BB&T No. 2 Chevrolet driven by Clint Bowyer in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Relocating our financial center to the Gunbarrel Road location will make banking with BB&T more convenient,” said Chattanooga city executive Tracy Brown.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based BB&T Corp. is the nation’s 14th largest financial holding company.
