18-year-old killed in Walker County crash

Marvin Cody Carroll, 18, was killed Monday afternoon when his SUV collided head-on with a tractor-trailer on State road 151 in Walker County, according to a Georgia State Patrol dispatcher.

The victim was a student at Chattooga County High School.

The dispatcher said the accident occurred just before 6 p.m. at Highway 151 and Halls Valley Road.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
