Chattanooga: Talk radio show host considers run for mayor or city council

Talk radio show host Robert T. Nash picked up qualifying papers this morning from the Hamilton County Election Commission to run either for mayor or in the District 6 City Council race.

Mr. Nash said he has not been impressed with representation of the Brainerd area on the City Council. He admitted his role as a talk show host could give him some media edge.

ā€œI’m going to have to walk a thin line,ā€ he said.

District 6 now is represented by Dr. Carol Berz. Marti Rutherford, the former councilwoman for District 6, also has picked up qualifying papers to run.

Mr. Nash is a host on Talk Radio 102.3 WGOW
