Georgia drops to No. 2 in football polls

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs were passed by Southern Cal in both the Associated Press and USA Today college football polls released today. The Bulldogs opened with a 45-21 win at home over Georgia Southern, while USC hammered Virginia 52-7 in Charlottesville.

“That doesn’t surprise me,” Bulldogs coach Mark Richt said. “Honestly, it’s not that big of a deal to me. It’s really not.”
