AUGUSTA, Ga. — And they’re off under a glorious day here at Augusta National Golf Club.

Sunday at the Masters has started, but the real drama will not unfold until this afternoon.

Defending champion Trevor Immelman, who is 12 shots behind co-leaders Kenny Perry and Angel Cabrera, teed off before noon and was even par through four holes.

Of the early players, Bubba Watson was the quickest starter — becoming the first player since Friday to make a birdie at the opening hole. Watson made birdies at No. 1 and No. 2 and was 2 under through six holes in the final round to get to 1 under for the tournament

It’s a loaded afternoon, with Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson playing together. The star-studded pairing will go off the first tee at 1:35 p.m. — and hour before the co-leaders begin their final round.
