Bad 80’s Music for the 4th of July

What do the Beach Boys, Kiss and China Crisis have in common? Well, in my opinion, they all three have some great songs in their musical catalogs. But more importantly, they all released some really, really bad music in the 80’s. The Beach Boys issued a horrible album called Keepin’ the Summer Alive, which featured this awful song called When Girls Get Together. KISS released their most critically-lauded album called Crazy Nights, which featured My Way.

The other songs on this podcast are equally atrocious for varying reasons. I hope you enjoy them.

Listen here.

Some shows for the weekend:

JJ Grey and Mofro are headlining at Nightfall tonight. If you like your tunes with guitar solos and looooonnnng jams then this the ticket. Showtime is 8pm. at miller stage downtown.

Camp Normal is returning to Rhythm n’ Brews after a their scorching Riverbend performance. They’ll be joined by Breaking Vegas. The show is tonight at 10pm.

Saturday night is metal night at JJ’s Bohemia: Night of the Wolf, Blood Cow, Black Skies and Forest Magic are playing. Showtime is 8pm.

Have a great holiday
