Registration open for Miss Tennessee USA, Miss Teen USA pageants

Kimberly Payne Greenwood, director of the Miss Tennessee USA and Teen USA pageants, announces that applications are being accepted for the pageants, which will be held Oct. 2-3 in Clarksville, Tenn., at Austin Peay State University.

Mrs. Greenwood, an alumna of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, is a former Miss Tennessee USA and wife of entertainer and Grammy winner Lee Greenwood.

Eligible women must be residents of Tennessee, a single female, have never married nor given birth to a child, a United States citizen and between the ages of 14 and 26.

To express interest in becoming a contestant in the Miss Tennessee USA or Teen USA Pageants, log onto www.misstennesseeusa.com. Be prepared to submit a brief biography and upload a recent photo or snapshot.

A seminar for contestants will be held in Clarksville on Sunday, Aug. 23.
