“Fashion for me is simply a form of self expression, an art form through cut and fabric and the blending of different textures. I don’t typically do head-to-toe by one designer, but (I) love mixing it up from all kinds of places. It is really important to me to keep the bulk of my shopping local. We are so lucky to have so many fun independent boutiques in Chattanooga, and I am especially proud of the styles we are bringing in here at Susanna’s. As for early influences and mentors, it begins with the women in my world: my mother, grandmother and my friend’s mom. Times were different. People created wardrobes to last, not seasonal throwaways.”
