House approves compromise version of budget

The Tennessee House voted 85-12 late Wednesday night to approve a compromise version of the 2009-2010 appropriations bill. Representatives later voted 89-8 on a bond bill. Both measures were sent to the Senate, which was expected to take up the bills early this morning.
