On the menu

* Where: Blue Plate Diner, 191 Chestnut St.

* What: Blue Plate has teamed up with Chattanooga Bakery, home of the MoonPie, to create a dreamy, creamy dessert: MoonPie Cheesecake. The confection crumbles MoonPies throughout a classic cheesecake, then drizzles it all in white and dark chocolate. "Guests love them when they try them," said owner Rob Gentry. If you can't get enough of the MoonPies, try ordering a MoonPie shake made with Clumpies vanilla ice cream and bits of banana MoonPie. "It's a great way for us to support local products and have some fun with food," Mr. Gentry said.

* Price: $4 (cheesecake), $5 (milkshake).

* Phone: 648-6767.

* Online: www.theblueplate.info.

* Hours: 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
