Hamilton County: Commission receptive to sheriff’s information plan

Hamilton County commissioners indicated this morning that they would approve a plan by Sheriff Jim Hammond to install a pair of computer monitors and relocate a information kiosk in the county courts building.

Sheriff Hammond said he wants to display photos of the county’s 10 most wanted criminals on the monitors and make the kiosk easier to access. He said the plan would come at no additional cost.

Commission Chairman Jim Coppinger asked the sheriff to bring a resolution to the commission next week formally requesting the changes.
