Bradley County: 3 arrested for attempted murder in teen beating

Bradley County detectives have arrested three suspects in the severe beating of a 19-year-old man.

Robert Preston Shelton, 43, Robert Preston Shelton, Jr., 19, and Connie Andelina Nelson, 32, were all charged with attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder, according to a sheriff’s release.

Timothy Wayne Farmer was found on Eureka Road t 7 a.m. Wednesday with severe head injuries and bleeding, the release said. He was transported to Erlanger hospital, where he is listed in critical condition, authorities said.

A neighbor in the 7500 block of Eureka Road found Mr. Farmer lying injured near his home, the release said.

Sheriff Tim Gobble said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are pending.
