The local Flicko's store is part of a Kentucky-based franchise with locations in eight states. Mr. Morell and his wife, Kim, opened the North Georgia store in 2004 as the company's first franchise and will celebrate five years in business this year.

In addition to video transfers, the store also provides services such as video editing, DVD and CD duplication, on-site filming, sports highlight videos and more, either through one of the company's professionals or with the do-it-yourself studio. Flicko's has a large royalty-free library of music customers can use or have run with their videos.

Mr. Morell and his wife plan to open additional Flicko's locations in the near future, including one in the Hixson area.
