App State leads UTC 21-0

BOONE, N.C. — The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team couldn't get out of its own way in the first quarter Saturday at Kidd Brew Stadium. And No. 8 Appalachian State was more than happy to take advantage of all the Mocs' miscues.

The Mountaineers moved the ball at will on offense and led 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Running backs Devon Moore and Devin Radford and quarterback Armanti Edwards all scored on short runs.

First quarter: Appalachian State 21, UTC 0
