Several law enforcement agencies Friday conducted a saturation consisting of traffic stops, patrol functions and serving warrants.

The Chattanooga Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshals, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, FBI and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office began patrolling East Chattanooga, Highland Park and East Lake at 7 a.m. Friday and continued through the night, said Chattanooga police spokeswoman Officer Rebecca Royval in a news release.

A prostitution sting conducted Thursday also was part of the operation, she said.

Those arrested were taken directly to the Hamilton County Jail.
