* The matchup: Georgia has had two weeks to determine how to move the ball against Florida’s defense, which allows 10.1 points and 229.6 yards a game. The Bulldogs finally started running the ball in the fourth quarter at Vanderbilt, amassing 120 yards after netting just 53 through the first three, but that was in Nashville and not Jacksonville. “We must keep banging away,” Georgia coach Mark Richt said, “even if we don’t have success early.”

* The matchup: Florida is struggling compared to last season, yet the Gators still lead the SEC in rushing yards per game, pass efficiency and total yards a game. They are rushing for 258 yards a game behind Tebow and tailbacks Demps, Chris Rainey and Emmanuel Moody, which is 150 more a game than Georgia averages. “There is not anything about them at all that resembles a finesse team,” Richt said. “They do spread you out, but they pound you.”
THE ONE TO WATCH
* Georgia receiver A.J. Green: Like any other Saturday, Green will have to be a factor for the Bulldogs to have a chance. He will be challenged by Florida cornerbacks Joe Haden and Janoris Jenkins, and there could be plenty of safety help available with the likes of Ahmad Black, Major Wright and Will Hill. If Green can make a big catch early to stretch the field, Georgia could get its running game going. If not, the down and distance could get nightmarish for Bulldogs quarterback Joe Cox.
IN THE END
* Breaking it down: The open date Georgia received will benefit the Bulldogs, but probably not to the magnitude of the 42-30 upset of the Gators two years ago. Florida has been its own worst enemy in recent weeks, and if the Gators can eliminate turnovers in the red zone for a change, they could put this one away in the third quarter for a second straight year.
* Prediction: Florida 20, Georgia 17
