Following the Rain in Studio ‘99 09/25/09

Considering this week’s major flooding the MUSICcast is a collection of songs about the rain. Some are particular favorites of mine including “Settled Down Like Rain” from the Jayhawks and “High Water Everywhere” by Charley Patton. You’ll also hear a song of a more upbeat note from The new Beatles remasters.

Some Shows:

The FYI AWARDS website is now taking nominations for local artists and bands. Nominate in 30 different categories at FYIAwards.com

The final night of the Nightfall Summer concert series takes place this evening in Miller Plaza. The Gibson Brothers will perform with the Dismembered Tennesseans. The show is at 7pm.

The Breakfast Club performs this evening in Chattanooga at Rhythm n’ Brews. Tickets are $5. The show is at 10pm.

JOnell Mosser Band will perform with David Sterchi band at Rhythm N’ Brews this Saturday night.

Have a great weekend.
