Friday, March 19, 2010

Chattanooga-area women will share their battles against heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women in America, at Thursday's Go Red Luncheon.

The luncheon is part of the American Heart Association's national call for women to take charge of their health. The color red, and specifically the iconic red dress, are symbols that represent the vitality and energy of women.

Events will last from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chattanooga Convention Center, 1 Carter Plaza. Participants can meet with health and fitness experts, medical professionals and other women who are making lifestyle changes to improve their health.

Tickets are $60. Call Emily Daily at 763-4403 today to inquire about availability.
