Four people were arrested Thursday in a multi-agency sweep in Walker County, according to a news release.

The eight-hour sweep verified the residences of more than 40 offenders, mostly registered sex offenders, the release from the State Board of Pardons and Paroles stated. Parole board officials worked with the Walker County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Robbie Frashier, Allen T. Bloodworth and Angela Beshers, all of LaFayette, along with Mary Jane Hollingsworth, of Rossville, were charged with violating parole, the release stated.

The sweep began about 4 p.m. Thursday and ended shortly after midnight today, the release stated. The officers verified residences, searched offenders for contraband and ensured they were complying with the terms and guidelines of parole or probation supervision, the release stated.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson lauded the multi-agency effort.

"It's great when local, state and federal law enforcement can come together for the safety of our citizens and we're doing that by ensuring these sex offenders are complying with the law," he said.
