Volunteers have unpacked the stacks and will open the semiannual Friends of the Library Book Sale on Saturday at Eastgate Town Center, 5600 Brainerd Road.
According to a news release, this is the group’s largest sale ever, with more tables of merchandise and more books available, as well as a larger selection of books for youths and VHS tapes.
Prices on books for adults are $2 for hardbacks, $1 for paperbacks. Children’s and young adult books are priced at $1 for hardbacks and 50 cents per paperback. Sets, encyclopedias and special collections are priced as marked.
Books will be half-price on Sunday, April 10, and will sell for $3.50 per bag on the final day, Monday, April 11.
Hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sundays.
