Rossville's Lauren Alaina Suddeth, along with the other 10 "American Idol" finalists who will be touring this summer, is featured in the April 15 issue of "Entertainment Weekly," which hits newsstands today.
Suddeth is the daughter of Kristy and J.J. Suddeth and a sophomore at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School. Paul McDonald, whose mother is an instructor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga,is also among the finalists.
The article, "Idol Gets The Party (Re)Started," features a two-page photo spread of the 11 touring finalists. It lauds their strong level of talent for injecting new personality into this 10th season of the Fox hit, which "erased the memory of 2010's yawn-worthy lineup." Writer Dalton Ross states the amped-up talent has resulted in high ratings and fan approval, keeping "Idol" the No. 1 television show in the country.
On Wednesday night's episode, the remaining eight finalists will sing hit songs from movies. The "American idol Live Tour" launches July 6. Concert sites have yet to be announced.
