Police are searching for two men who threatened a Calhoun, Ga., store clerk with a gun this morning, then stole the money from the cash register.
When police arrived at the Kangaroo store located off U.S. Highway 41 around 2:45 a.m., the officer found the store clerk hiding in the bathroom, an incident report shows.
The clerk told police two men he described as black males wearing masks and dark clothing came into the store. One man pointed a gun at the clerk’s head and said, “Give me all the money,” the report showed.
The clerk opened the register and gave the man $124.57, while another man took the clerk’s wallet from her purse, the report showed. The men then fled.
