Several areas of Hamilton County suffered significant storm damage in this morning's storm, including Kelley's Ferry and Brown's Ferry Road in Tiftonia.
Due to significant traffic in the Tiftonia area, Tennessee Highway Patrol has closed off exits 174 and 175 on Interstate 24 and are only allowing local residents and emergency service personnel in.
In Hixson, Northcross Road between Ashland Terrace and Gadd Road and Ely Road are closed.
