An early morning wreck caused I-24 Eastbound to shut down all but one lane, according to police.
The accident occurred just after 6 am near the Cummings Highway exit and involved only one vehicle, police said.
A police official said one person was injured in the accident but the extent of the injury is unknown.
All lanes were opened back up around 7:15 am and traffic has returned to normal.
